The Norm Kulig 2Young2Go Foundation

The siblings of Norm Kulig have formed this organization because they lost their beloved brother, at the age of 42, to Mesothelioma, a disease caused by exposure to asbestos. There is no known cure and most people don’t live more than two years post diagnosis. But the real indignity in this is that asbestos exposure is the only known cause of Mesothelioma, and exposure could be prevented through controls on use and appropriate remediation.

Our hope and goal is to increase awareness and provide much needed funds for a cancer that affects a large population but goes relatively unrecognized. The southeastern part of Pennsylvania was a hot bed of asbestos manufacturing for nearly 100 years. There are still significant waste deposits in the area that are in need of remediation. A strong potential currently exists that these waste deposits may continue to infect and cause disease.

Registered as a nonprofit 501 (c) (3), the Norm Kulig 2Young2Go Foundation is committed to remembering those who lost their lives to this disease. Help us honor and memorialize those who lost their lives, increase the awareness of environmental related causes of cancer, further the scientific research of such cancers and promote the environmental cleanup of areas contaminated by such cancer causing substances.
